Slaanesh, the Dark Prince, is the Chaos God of pleasure, excess, perfection, and depravity. Born from the collective sins of the Elven race, Slaanesh is the youngest of the Chaos Gods but no less powerful for it. His followers pursue perfection in all things — art, combat, sensation — until the pursuit itself becomes an addiction that consumes them. Slaanesh is the most seductive and the most dangerous of the Chaos Gods.

Slaanesh was born during the Fall of the Elven empire, when the decadence of the ancient Elves created a psychic vortex that tore a hole in reality and gave birth to a new god. The birth of Slaanesh consumed the souls of most of the ancient Elves and created the Eye of Terror. The High Elves have hunted Slaanesh ever since, and the Dark Elves — who embrace excess — are his most devoted mortal servants.

Slaanesh's forces are fast, seductive, and deadly. Daemonettes are swift daemonic infantry with razor-sharp claws. Seekers of Slaanesh ride Steeds of Slaanesh at blinding speed. Fiends of Slaanesh are bizarre, multi-limbed creatures that can paralyse enemies with their tail. The Keeper of Secrets — Slaanesh's Greater Daemon — is a towering, beautiful, and utterly deadly creature of terrifying grace.

Slaanesh's followers are artists, hedonists, and perfectionists who have crossed the line into depravity. His cults operate in the pleasure houses and artistic circles of the Old World's cities, offering experiences that gradually corrupt the soul. Slaanesh's champions are often former artists or warriors who sought perfection and found only emptiness — and then sought more. The pursuit never ends; the satisfaction never comes.
