Overview
The Greenskins — Orcs and Goblins — are a race of warlike, fungus-based creatures who exist for one purpose: to fight. Orcs are massive, powerful, and driven by an instinctive need for battle, while Goblins are smaller, more cunning, and utterly treacherous. Together, they form the WAAAGH — a tide of green destruction that has toppled empires and driven the Dwarfs from many of their greatest holds.
History
The Greenskins have been a constant threat to civilization since before recorded history. The Goblin Wars drove the Dwarfs from much of the World's Edge Mountains. The great Orc warlord Gorbad Ironclaw nearly destroyed the Empire. Grimgor Ironhide, the greatest Orc warrior of the current age, has fought his way across the world in search of worthy opponents. The WAAAGH is not an army — it is a force of nature.
Military Forces
Greenskin armies are chaotic but devastating. Orc Boyz and Black Orcs form the heavy infantry, while Goblin archers and Squig Herds provide support. Night Goblin Fanatics — Goblins who spin iron balls on chains — are terrifying shock weapons. Trolls, Giants, and the enormous Arachnarok Spider serve as monsters. The Savage Orcs, who paint themselves with warpaint and fight in a frenzy, are among the most dangerous warriors in the world.
Culture & Society
Greenskin culture is simple: the biggest and strongest leads, and everyone else follows or gets hit. Orc society is a constant brawl, with the biggest Orc — the Warboss — ruling through sheer physical dominance. Goblins are sneaky and cowardly, preferring ambush and poison to open combat. The WAAAGH is a psychic phenomenon — as more Greenskins gather and fight, they grow larger and stronger, feeding on the energy of battle.
